Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager in Atlanta to lead cost and schedule control on large-scale data center projects. This high-visibility role directly influences how projects are planned, tracked, and delivered.

You will oversee cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting across multiple data-center projects, develop baseline and updated schedules, and mentor the project controls team. A strong background in earned value analysis and cost-to-complete is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project controls experience with a commercial general contractor or construction manager.
• Data center or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency with cost management systems such as Procore, Sage, or similar, and strong Excel skills.
• Strong command of earned value, forecasting, and cost-to-complete analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls across multiple data center projects, including cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain baseline and updated schedules, and analyze critical path, float, and risk.
• Manage budgets, cost reports, change orders, and cash flow forecasts.
• Give project teams and executive leadership clear, accurate reporting on cost and schedule performance.
• Set up and improve project controls processes, tools, and standards across the company.
• Partner with project managers, superintendents, and preconstruction teams to keep projects on budget and on schedule.
• Mentor and develop project controls staff.
