Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution in Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC. You will develop plans, track milestones, manage budgets, and report to senior leaders, ensuring on-scope, on-time delivery and adoption across the portfolio.

The role requires 7+ years of PM/Portfolio experience, insurance industry exposure, and strong skills in Smartsheet and Excel with hybrid/Agile delivery experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading PM/Program/Portfolio initiatives.
• Experience in life insurance, annuity, or reinsurance sectors.
• Hands-on use of Smartsheet and Excel for planning and reporting.
• Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong budgeting, risk management and executive reporting.
• Direct collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones and dependencies.
• Manage budgets, resources, risks and issues with transparent reporting.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, prioritization and decision sessions.
• Remove roadblocks and drive process improvements across the organization.
• Support portfolio governance, roadmaps, scorecards and metrics.
• Ensure user adoption and operational readiness for initiatives.
