Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation or migration of a new Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system.
The ideal candidate has led 5–10 full‑cycle ETRM projects, including system replacements or version upgrades, and brings strong expertise in North American Power Trading, renewable generation, and complex deal structures such as PPAs, nodal markets, and congestion trading.
Experience with battery storage assets and renewable integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of the ETRM implementation/migration project.
• Manage 6 workstreams covering:
• Stakeholder Engagement (Middle Office, Risk, Accounting, Compliance, Operations)
• Business Readiness (change management, training, cutover, and go‑live support)
• Integration & Automation (system interfaces and process automation)
• Solution Architecture (requirements, design, QA, and alignment with target architecture)
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Ensure cross‑functional alignment, risk management, and clear stakeholder communication.
• Oversee governance, compliance, and quality throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience, including 5–10 ETRM system implementations.
• Demonstrated success in system replacements or version migrations.
• In-depth understanding of North American Power Trading, ISO/RTO markets, congestion management, PPAs, and complex deal structures.
• Proven experience in renewable and battery storage asset management.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multi‑stream, cross‑functional programs with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and risk management abilities.
• Practical experience in change management and training/user onboarding for large‑scale system rollouts.

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
• Hands‑on experience with major ETRM platforms such as Orchestrade, Endur, Allegro, Molecule, or EKA — with preference for cloud‑native or cloud‑hosted environments.
• Familiarity with ISO/RTO market design and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience delivering under Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
