Job summary

Border States Paving in Fargo, ND is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Estimator to lead complex heavy civil and asphalt projects from bid through closeout. You will estimate work, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with owners, engineers, and field teams, and mentor site staff while ensuring safety and profitability.

This role blends office and field duties with travel to project sites, requiring strong leadership, clear communication, and a track record of delivering on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in heavy civil, asphalt, grading, sitework, estimating, or project management.
• Strong estimating and project management experience.
• Heavy highway/DOT experience preferred.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

This is a key leadership role for a proven heavy civil/asphalt professional who can estimate work accurately, win projects, and lead them through safe, profitable execution.

What You'll Do
