Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in highway construction, asphalt paving, or materials production is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Detail-oriented, self-directed and able to work with others.
• Good math and computer skills including Word and Excel.
• HCSS Heavy Bid/Heavy Job experience is a plus but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and a valid driving record are important.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow directions in the field.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities for highway paving operations.
• Coordinate paving crews, plant production, trucking and materials.
• Communicate with DOT personnel on project details.
• Keep accurate project records and weekly certifications.
• Resolve issues with project staff and keep on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company policies.
