Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Engineering to lead valve procurement and delivery for AP1000 projects. You will manage planning, PO placement, execution and turnover of valve equipment, working with WBS 8 Lead and cross-functional teams.

This hybrid role supports supplier coordination, risk management, and schedule, cost, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• 4 years minimum experience, typically 8+ years.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
• Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Show higher initiative and accountability.
• Inquisitive attitude with driver approach or behavior style.

Responsibilities

• Execute program management strategies aligning with global delivery models and AP1000 portfolio.
• Monitor program performance; identify risks and mitigation strategies for safety, quality, schedule and cost.
• Partner with project procurement leaders to support customer project execution.
• Contribute to delivery and implementation plans for project success and growth.
• Coordinate with Westinghouse teams, suppliers and customers across locations.
• Support procurement strategy development for components and equipment.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to develop sourcing and execution plans for delivery.
• Mentor and onboard new team members supporting customer projects.
• Serve as the contact for project status and delivery activities related to valves and equipment.
• Assist with staffing forecasts and resource planning for projects.
• Participate in proposal and bid development activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on documentation, witness points, and hold-point requirements.
• Support supplier selection, technical evaluations, quality assessments and RFQ packaging.
