Job summary

Hawaiian Electric Company invites applications for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead Energy Delivery projects on Oahu, Maui, or Hawaii Island. You will manage scope, schedule, and costs, coordinate with regulators, community groups, and internal teams, and ensure project objectives are met from inception through closeout.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years (or more) for PM roles, PMP certification is a plus, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of project management principles and engineering/construction practices in transmission/distribution and/or generation.
• PMP Certification from PMI is a plus.
• Experience with regulatory processes and land use issues.
• Working knowledge of PCs and software like MS Project, SAP, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage scope, schedule, and costs for projects.
• Coordinate with regulators, government agencies, and community groups.
• Prepare and present progress and cost reports.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage vendors and procurement.
• Assist in emergency response activities as required.
