Job summary

Constellation in New York seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale energy efficiency and major maintenance construction projects, ensuring safety, quality and on-time, on-budget delivery while liaising with clients and plant operations.

You will oversee schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs, and procurement, manage subcontractors, review drawings, and drive cost-effective operations through effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience in construction project management.
• Demonstrated supervisory/management experience in plant operations/maintenance.
• Ability to review and interpret schematic, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and architectural drawings.
• Solid understanding of mechanical/electrical plant components.
• Strong cost estimating and budgeting experience.
• Proficient in Primavera and other PM software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce safety compliance.
• Develop and review project schedules, cost estimates and budgets.
• Lead, plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities to meet goals on time and within budget.
• Manage field resources and subcontractors for professional project execution.
• Coordinate change orders, RFIs, invoices, and financial planning.
