Join an established energy operations environment supporting critical district energy infrastructure and facility improvement initiatives. The Senior Project Manager - District Energy Facility will lead complex construction and capital projects from planning through close-out, coordinating contractors, plant operations, engineering, procurement, and other stakeholders.
Lead project execution to meet safety, schedule, scope, quality, and budget requirements.
Maintain safe working conditions, identify and correct hazards, and enforce safety compliance.
Develop and review project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, bills of materials, scopes of work, standards, and supplier quotations.
Manage field resources, subcontractors, vendors, and personnel from construction through project close-out.
Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, change orders, RFIs, invoices, cost forecasting, and schedule tracking.
Partner closely with plant management and Operations & Maintenance teams on facility and asset improvement projects.
Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management, energy plant management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of plant infrastructure, including boilers, chillers, gas turbines, auxiliaries, and control systems.
Proven construction project management experience, including subcontractor coordination, budgeting, cost estimating, value engineering, and contract administration.
Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, and schematic drawings.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/construction management tools such as Primavera and Maximo.
Strong communication, technical writing, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
7 years managing construction projects and/or energy asset operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience with multi-capital facility improvement and Design-Build projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration and/or PMP certification preferred.
