Job summary

BHDP Architecture is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Raleigh, NC to lead the successful delivery of multiple design projects, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and guide project teams from concept to completion.

You will collaborate with clients and internal leaders, monitor performance, address risk, and ensure profitability while maintaining high standards of design excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (NAAB accredited program preferred) or Interior Design (CIDA accredited program preferred).
• 12+ years in the design and/or architecture industry.
• Architectural License or NCIDQ Certification preferred.
• Advanced Revit knowledge.
• Advanced visualization capabilities (SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion).
• Advanced knowledge of Project Management systems (VantagePoint preferred).
• Demonstrated delegation, coaching, and team performance improvements.
• Attention to detail and strong communication within a team.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of multiple projects and project teams.
• Lead the project team with clear direction and ownership of tasks.
• Manage projects to deliver consistent direction and outcomes.
• Gatekeeper for project profitability; merge scope, fee and timeframe.
• Manage client expectations related to scope, fee, and timeline changes.
• Ensure team members maximize project support aligned to skills.
• Update project plans to enable proactive resource planning.
• Partner with operational leaders to align staffing with project needs.
• Educate the team on deliverables and provide regular updates on results.
• Provide updates on time allocations, milestones and project health.
• Meet regularly with team members to support development.
