Job summary

Job Description

Role: Senior Project Manager

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Duration: 6 months to start

Rate: up to $60-$64/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives, with a focus on coordinating project delivery, aligning business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution from planning through implementation.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in IT project or program management, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, technical dependencies, resources, and timelines. Experience supporting digital products, software or application development, and the full product lifecycle—from initial planning and discovery through development, launch, and go-to-market is highly desirable.

This is a hands-on delivery leadership role requiring someone who can work effectively across business, technology, and operational teams, drive alignment, proactively resolve challenges, and keep complex initiatives moving forward.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of project or program management experience, including large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Healthcare/clinical relevant experience
• Experience managing projects involving digital products, software development, or web/mobile application development.
• Familiarity with the full digital product lifecycle, including planning, discovery, design, development/build, testing, launch, and go-to-market.
• Demonstrated success leading complex IT projects from planning through implementation and delivery.
• Strong experience managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams, including timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership in a matrixed environment.
• Experience establishing project plans, managing priorities, and driving accountability across teams.
• Strong understanding of IT project delivery methodologies, processes, and governance.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and stakeholder management.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage changing priorities, and proactively resolve project delivery challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience partnering closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX/UI teams, software engineers, and other application development stakeholders.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience coordinating digital product launches, application implementations, or customer-facing technology initiatives.
• Exposure to product roadmaps, feature prioritization, product requirements, and release planning.
• Experience improving project intake, prioritization, or governance processes.
• Healthcare or multi-site operations experience.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or equivalent certification.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Delivery

• Lead large-scale, cross-functional technology projects from initiation and planning through execution, implementation, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams, managing dependencies, competing priorities, and shifting business needs.
• Proactively identify and resolve project risks, issues, resource constraints, and delivery challenges.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

Digital Product & Application Delivery

• Support technology initiatives involving digital products, software applications, and application development.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and technical leaders to coordinate delivery across the software development lifecycle.
• Facilitate alignment between business requirements, technical feasibility, development priorities, and implementation timelines.
• Ideally, bring familiarity with the full digital product lifecycle, including planning, discovery, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and go-to-market activities.
• Support coordination of product launches, application rollouts, and organizational readiness activities.

Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a primary point of coordination between business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, planning sessions, and decision-making discussions to drive alignment and accountability.
• Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions to leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable updates for non-technical audiences.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and navigate competing business priorities in a matrixed environment.

Project Governance & Process Improvement

• Establish and maintain project management processes, documentation, reporting, and governance practices.
• Support project intake, prioritization, resource planning, and portfolio visibility.
• Track project budgets, vendor deliverables, resource utilization, and overall project performance.Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, team collaboration, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with broader IT and business teams to ensure consistent project execution and alignment with organizational priorities.
