Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm, is seeking a Project Manager to join our commercial team in Fort Myers, FL. You will oversee week-to-week execution, manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and lead a production team while coordinating subcontractors and permits.

You will be the primary client contact, drive project plans, perform EWA negotiations, develop financial reporting in Smartsheet, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architectural discipline is required; MBA is highly preferred.
• Active PE licensure or ability to obtain within six months.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage project production, delivery, and client updates.
• Build and maintain the project plan incorporating scope, schedule, and budget.
• Responsible for assigned contract/EWA scope and fee preparation and negotiation with client.
• Create and maintain Smartsheet and ensure alignment with financial reporting.
• Lead a production team through weekly project reviews, task assignments, as well as coaching and mentoring.
• Track planned labor budget vs actual labor burn weekly; correct variances; monitor labor charges.
• Serves as assigned client’s day-to-day contact; escalate strategic items to Program Manager; support upsell conversations.
• Prepare pre-bills, percentage complete updates, and billing notes; support collections to keep AR current.
• Enforces safety and DOA; maintains project files / records; captures lessons learned.
