Compensation Range

$117,500.00 - $195,800.00 Annual Salary

Job Description Summary:

Overall management of construction projects to ensure successful completion.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all Project Manager responsibilities (see detailed position description)
• Manage multiple or large, complex projects
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract prices (GMP/Lump Sum)
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontractor and material purchases
• Implement job procedures for timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
• Ensure projects stay on schedule
• Develop and maintain relationships with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors
• Collaborate with Superintendent on safety plans and procedures
• Maintain accurate reporting to management
• Manage, train, and supervise project teams according to company policies
• Organize meetings with management and subcontractors
• Review contract conditions for compliance
• Supervise documentation of significant project events
• Oversee preconstruction services and activities
• Negotiate and prepare subcontract bid packages
• Assist with business development and participate in interviews
• Maintain quality control standards
• Support estimating staff
• Mitigate claims and conflicts
• Complete project close-out procedures
• Conduct warranty follow-up (1-year)
• Ensure project completion with full or enhanced fee
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities

Minimum Skills and Experience:

• Design Build experience is essential
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience
• 8-10 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory roles
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Organizational and communication skills
• Drafting and computer proficiency
• Basic knowledge of contract law and project accounting
• Understanding of project management systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating)
