Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to own assigned projects and protect gross margin by closely monitoring material and labor costs.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and adherence to budget and schedule. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and experience in project or construction management, with PMI certification preferred and ERP/SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business or engineering, or equivalent.
• Min. 2–3 years of project or construction management experience.
• Certification according to the US PMI standard preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned project and protect gross margin by monitoring costs.
• Resolve project problems timely and maintain schedule and budget.
• Close out projects with required submittals and final payment.
• Communicate effectively to ensure satisfaction of customers and internal resources.
• Interact with SWPM EVACI and cross-functional teams.
• Set up and lead cross-functional project team.
• Contract management with interaction between all parties.
• Travel to customer or internal meetings up to 25%.
