Job summary

Ohio CAT (Columbus) is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead large and complex data center and mission-critical projects in Ohio. You will plan, execute, and coordinate activities, acquire resources, and oversee quality from start to finish with a focus on within-budget delivery.

The role requires coordinating engineers, technicians, suppliers, and customers, reviewing documents for compliance, and managing billing, change orders, and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience as a Project Manager or equivalent.
• Power Systems, Data Center/Mission‑Critical Applications, Energy Transition, or CAT industry expertise preferred.
• Proficiency in reading engineering specifications and electrical system diagrams.
• Some experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for engine and power systems, including preparation of engineering submittals, equipment procurement, construction management, and coordination with field service technicians.
• Review project documents for compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Manage project billing activities including invoicing, change orders, and cost tracking.
