CBRE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide consulting services for a financial services client and lead MEP infrastructure projects for regional data centers in Columbus, OH. The role is onsite and requires managing scope, schedule, cost, and risk from initiation through completion.

The candidate should have strong experience in mission critical facilities, MEP systems, and project leadership, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders while upholding CBRE

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience
• MEP construction experience in mission critical facilities required
• Data Center facilities experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with MS Project or equivalent PM software
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects.
• Plan, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Interface with client to lead data center MOP process for scheduling activities.
• Ensure standard methodologies for design and delivery of critical facility systems.
• Define project delivery resources, cost estimates, budget, schedule, milestones, quality control and risk.
• Conduct complex requests for proposals, bid evaluations, and resource recommendations.
• Facilitate development of charter and integrated timeline.
• Ensure all functions stay on schedule and issues are escalated as needed.
• Lead regular status meetings and collaborate to drive implementation and completion.
• Develop new methods to improve efficiency and outcomes across the function.

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services for our financial services client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. The Sr. Project Manager will lead MEP infrastructure construction projects for the client's regional data centers including UPS power, HVAC, chillers, and fire suppression systems.

This job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Role is onsite at our client data center in Columbus, OH.

What You'll Do

Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects.

This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Interface directly with client to lead client MOP (Method of Procedure) process for scheduling all data center construction related activity.

May ensure standard methodologies are followed for design and delivery of critical facility system components and equipment.

Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.

Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.

Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.

Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated.

Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.

Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.

Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.

Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.

Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.

What You'll Need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• MEP construction experience in mission critical facilities required. Data Center facilities experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). MS Project or equivalent project management software experience.
