Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Fredericksburg, VA, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead real estate project delivery from inception to closeout. You will manage client scope, budgets, schedules, risk, and governance, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience, LEED AP / PMP / CCM preferred, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills for financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project including scope, budget, and milestones.
• Define project delivery resources and conduct RFIs/RFPs, bid evaluations, and resource recommendations.
• Implement project governance aligned with company and client requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and timely, coordinated project documentation.
• Lead the project delivery team and provide guidance to achieve goals.
• Create action plans and track progress, reporting status and variances.
• Identify threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Apply standard principles and provide innovative solutions; coach and share knowledge.

About the Role:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing consulting services to an assigned market or client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

Onsite full-time in Fredericksburg, VA.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
• Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
• Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
• Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
• Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
• Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
• Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
