The Impact You'll Make
As our Program Manager II, you are responsible for turning business cases into delivered results – leading cross-functional teams from kick-off to closure on new product development (NPD), new business onboarding and cost-out projects in Fluid Conveyance.
With customers expecting faster launches and leaner costs, how well we run our programs directly shapes our competitiveness and margins – and you will be the person who keeps every program on course.
This role builds a strong foundation for growth into senior program management and wider portfolio leadership within Danfoss Power Solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build program plans, work breakdown structures and schedules from cross-functional input, so every program starts realistic, prioritized and properly staffed.
- Lead NPD, new business onboarding and VA/VE cost-out projects through execution, so the business case is delivered and products reach a successful Entry-Into-Service.
- Track program health with earned value (CPI/SPI), quality and delivery metrics, so risks, scope changes and impacts on the business case are caught and acted on early.
- Report status openly and on time to leadership and key customers, so decisions are made with a clear view of the business impact.
- Coach your project team and refine our NPD processes, guidelines and tools, so each program runs better than the last.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in business or a technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management or engineering, ideally in product development or manufacturing.
- Practical command of project management tools and methods: WBS, scheduling, earned value, risk and change management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional or international teams in a matrix organization with little formal authority.
- Clear, timely and transparent communication that influences leaders internally and with customers.
What You'll Get from Us
- We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
- You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
- We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
- You’ll receive a total rewards package that may include a range of benefits, depending on your location and contract type. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
