Job summary

Greenhouse Software, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Data & AI) to lead successful delivery of data, analytics, cloud modernization, and AI adoption programs.

You will manage full lifecycle across varied engagements, coordinating with client teams, delivery partners, and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes. You will build plans, risk and change governance, run steering committees, and translate technical status into actionable insights for executives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience delivering complex enterprise technology programs.
• Experience managing data, analytics, cloud, or AI delivery projects; consulting experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams that include business stakeholders, project managers, architects, engineers, developers, and technical specialists.
• Strong experience with project delivery methodologies including Agile/Scrum, Hybrid, and Waterfall approaches.
• PMP certification is highly desirable; PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or similar certifications are a plus.
• Experience establishing project governance frameworks, maintaining delivery documentation, and delivering clear project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of Data & AI programs ranging from cloud modernization and analytics initiatives to AI adoption and enterprise data platform implementations.
• Manage the full project lifecycle across small to large engagements, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, change control, and delivery governance.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestone schedules, RAID logs, sprint plans, status reporting, and delivery tracking mechanisms.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and design sessions to gather requirements, align stakeholders around business objectives, and establish clear delivery roadmaps.
• Lead executive steering committees and governance forums, translating complex delivery information into actionable insights, decisions, and recommendations.
• Oversee multi-team delivery efforts by managing dependencies across client teams, delivery teams, third-party vendors, Microsoft partners, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and reinforce effective project governance, including roles and responsibilities, communication plans, escalation paths, and ways of working that support delivery success.
• Drive proactive risk identification and mitigation strategies while ensuring timely resolution of issues that could affect scope, timelines, quality, or business outcomes.
• Support customer success by maintaining strong alignment between project execution, stakeholder expectations, adoption objectives, and measurable business value realization.
• Guide release and deployment planning activities, including multi-sprint delivery models, ensuring successful transitions from development through production deployment.
• Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of delivery quality.

• Experience managing project financials, commercial delivery, forecasting, burn rates, margins, and change orders.
• Proficiency with project and delivery management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
• PMP certification is highly desirable; PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or similar certifications are a plus.
