The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive non-technical initiatives from inception to completion. You will gather end-user data, define deliverables, and oversee execution with cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, risk and quality management, stakeholder communications, and project closure. A PMP or equivalent certification is required and compensation ranges from $100,000 to

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in project management
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse project team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with stakeholders and team members
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify potential issues and find effective solutions
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Budgeting and financial management skills to track project costs and expenses
• Time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Technical knowledge related to the specific project domain can be beneficial, depending on the project’s nature
• Experience with project management tools such as Asana and/or Jira a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure tasks are completed within budget
• Lead a project team with guidance and coordination throughout the lifecycle
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Monitor expenses and control costs to stay within budget
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
