Job summary

Software Placement Group (SPG) in Manhattan, NY seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead corporate workplace interiors projects from proposal through close-out, interfacing with clients, real estate teams, landlords and consultants.

This full-time hybrid role offers a salary range of $120K to $160K plus a comprehensive benefits plan, with NYC building code experience and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD as requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 10 years of continuous project management experience in Corporate Workplace Interiors
• Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong understanding and experience with NYC and IBC Building Codes, compliance, filing strategies, and base building infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Assist in responding to RFPs and attend new business presentations
• Calculate and track man/hour projections and project fees
• Generate contractual agreements
• Interface with the client, real estate team, landlord, and consultants
• Assist in code review, building analysis, and lease review
• Prepare consultant RFPs
• Generate project budgets and schedules
• Serve as prime client interface during all phases of the project
• Oversee project production and staffing projections
• Conduct final red-line review of construction documents
• Perform overall review of consultant documents
• Manage project finances including budgets, contracts, change orders, additional services requests, payment requisitions, fee tracking, invoicing, and collections
• Attend project meetings as required
• Coordinate the bidding process, including response to questions, interviews, bid review, and analysis
• Provide general coordination and management of the designated project team
• Handle project close-out and sign-off

Overview

Our client is an award-winning architecture and design firm known for innovative workplace solutions, working on projects locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. The firm seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead diverse corporate workplace interiors projects out of its New York City office, playing a key role in shaping client relationships and project outcomes.

What you'll do
