Job summary

Silicon Desert Staffing seeks a Senior Project Manager to establish and execute a project framework ensuring safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability in semiconductor manufacturing. You will oversee technical and commercial assessments, planning, scheduling, and cost estimation, while ensuring contract compliance and alignment with customer on-site requirements.

This role requires ten years in semiconductor manufacturing, strong project controls, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year science or business degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Jobrelated technical knowledge necessary to complete the job, must have experience or good working knowledge of production, equipment engineering, process engineering, or industrial engineering aspects of semiconductor manufacturing.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Demonstration of successful performance as project manager on a minimum of two (2) medium to large sized projects or multiple project assignments in a significant role on large improvement projects
• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the semiconductor field (preferably in the fab)
• Project Controls including understanding of: Scheduling, Risk assessment and management, Work breakdown structure, Change management, Estimating process and planning
• Mobility - extensive travel to site locations
• Participate in sales and marketing efforts

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for establishing and executing a project framework that ensures safety,quality, value, timeliness, and overall project profitability. Responsibilities include technical and commercial assessments, project planning, execution strategy,scheduling,cost estimating, and full project execution oversight. The role requires maintainingcontract compliance, managing project baselines, supporting design and engineering activities, and ensuring alignment with customer on‑siterequirements.Candidatesmust haveten years of semiconductor manufacturing experience, strong project controls expertise,and the ability to lead medium‑to‑large projects. Extensive domestic travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project or area management experience in international locations and diverse cultural environments is recommended
• Ability to influence a group of diverse individuals, each with their own goals, needs, and perspectives, to work together effectively for the good of a project
• Certification in project management suggested, for example, Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management offices (PMO)

Salary:$130-150kwithvariableannualbonus (TARGET 20-23%)
