Job summary

Empire & Co. is a leading provider of workplace solutions, seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee initiatives from planning through completion.

The role requires coordinating with clients, internal teams, contractors, and installation crews to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Travel to project sites across the United States is expected at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience in construction, commercial interiors, facilities, furniture, or a related industry.
• Strong account coordination and client relationship management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from kickoff through final client closeout.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and installation plans.
• Coordinate project activities between Sales, Design, Operations, Purchasing, Installation, and clients.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
• Track project milestones and proactively communicate updates, risks, and solutions.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, builders, general contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare and provide project closeout documentation and operational materials.
