Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a senior project manager to lead multiple tenant-improvement projects and build strong internal and external client relationships. You will coordinate with clients, trades, and tenants to deliver projects on time and on budget, leveraging your deep knowledge of design and construction processes to drive successful outcomes.

You will oversee the project roadmap from concept to close-out, ensure clear communication among stakeholders, manage schedules and budgets,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of ten years in Design/Construction/Project Management related field.
  • Strong background in corporate commercial real estate, property management, construction, and/or design.
  • Extensive knowledge of design process, construction and project management.
  • Reading and understanding architectural plans and technical specifications.
  • Ability to lead and direct a variety of vendors and provide critical thinking to problem solving.
  • Experience in directing and maintaining team spirit.
  • Familiar with business development strategies and harboring industry relationships.

  • Lead multiple commercial tenant improvement projects working closely with the client to a successful completion.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to ensure success.
  • Establish a pathway to project success based upon key performance indexes as defined by the stakeholders.
  • Oversee development of the Project Roadmap, leading the team from the initial project concept through final punch-list and close-out.
  • Coordinate with several trades and work with the building tenants.
  • Create the schedule/budget and identify any deviations, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Carve out a key role in developing a local project management presence.

In this role, you will…

What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of ten (10) years in Design/Construction/Project Management related field.
  • A solid background in corporate commercial real estate, property management, construction, and/or design.
  • Extensive knowledge of design process, construction and project management.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and industry specific software, i.e. Bluebeam, CAD, or Revit.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural plans and technical specifications.
  • Ability to lead and direct a variety of vendors, provide critical thinking to problem solving.
  • Experience in directing and maintaining team spirit.
  • Familiar with business development strategies and harboring industry relationships #LI-AC1 #LI-Onsite
