ARCO in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex design-build projects. You will manage estimates, scheduling, cost reporting, and coordination with owners and the design team to deliver value engineering and strong outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering or Construction Management, 8–10 years of GC experience, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office. This on-site role offers robust bonuses, retirement plans, and comprehensive benefits.

• 8–10 years design/build experience with a general contractor is required.
• Experience with estimating is required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee managerial and administrative aspects: estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, billing, design review and coordination.
• Ensure accurate and complete project estimates.
• Collaborate with owners and design team on preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in owner meetings to review scope and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout and selection process.
• Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings and ensure safety and quality.

A Day in the Life:

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation

• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate

• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings

• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs and provide value engineering ideas

• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors

• Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings

• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes

• Use customer input to make improvements and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations

• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding expectations

• Mentoring or oversight of Project Managers

Necessary Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required with a minimum 3.0 GPA

• 8-10 years' of proven design/build experience with a general contractor required

• Estimation experience required

• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Procore
