Job summary

WoodmenLife is seeking a Project Manager III to lead complex, high-visibility projects from initiation to closure. You will coordinate resources, establish budgets, define scope, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

You’ll mentor others and work with vendors, product owners, and governance bodies to deliver results. Ideal candidates have 5+ years directing diverse teams on software projects, strong communication, and change management skills, with PMP certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• PMP certification is strongly preferred for the PM II level.
• Minimum 5 years directing technical and non-technical staff on software projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with resource managers and product owners to identify resources and timelines.
• Establish and monitor project budgets.
• Define scope, assess risks, develop workplans, and schedule completion.
• Provide guidance on future state planning and project initiation.
• Ensure governance, documentation, testing, training and post-implementation reviews.
• Mentor others in the project management specialist role.
• Manage day-to-day vendor activities and communicate updates to governance groups.
