Senior Project Manager Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and key milestones.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site analyses to ensure optimal project execution.
  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and effective use of resources.
  • Oversee cost estimation, procurement processes, and ensure adherence to the financial plan.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Implement safety protocols and best practices to safeguard the well-being of all personnel on-site.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.
  • Adjust timelines and allocations as needed based on project developments and challenges.
  • Negotiate contracts with stakeholders, ensuring terms are favorable and align with project objectives.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality delivery of services and materials.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools: Procore, CMIC, ASTA, Excel, Bluebeam.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
