BSI Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in Cedar Rapids to lead client-focused engineering projects, ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence while mentoring others in the team.

The role requires strong client communication and extensive project leadership experience across disciplines. You will drive proposals, build client relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complete packages with quality and attention to SOPs, balancing client and internal needs

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering or related field.
• Proven ability to present to and communicate with clients.
• Experience in an engineering consulting role; pharma or food/bev preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead in proposal and estimate development.
• Build and maintain client relationships; acts as the primary point of contact.
• Delivers final proposal to client.
• Lead planning sessions, create detailed work plan, and coordinate staff.
• Balance client and BSI needs; manage expectations.
• Coordinate project meetings; document communications.
• Foster positive team environment and solution focus.
• Coordinate cross-discipline project teams.
• Deliver completed packages on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure package follows checking procedures prior to issuance.
• Follow QA and SOPs; communicate status reports as needed.
• Update project forecast and manage staff to deliverables.
• Monitor progress; analyze scope, schedule, budget adherence.
• Evaluate progress for deviations and issue change orders.
• Close out projects with all documents handed over.
• Manage RFIs with timely client feedback.
