Job summary

H&H is a Massachusetts-based, full-service infrastructure engineering firm seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead design projects for local clients. The role focuses on expanding management capabilities, growing a team, and mentoring junior staff while delivering comprehensive design and construction support across the project life cycle.

You will supervise and develop design teams, manage client relationships, and help expand market presence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan production experience.
• Familiarity with MassDOT details and production processes.
• Massachusetts PE required (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects and coordinate among multiple design disciplines.
• Oversee office operations, staffing, and resources; review staffing levels.
• Maintain personnel utilization; balance project demands with staff development.
• Supervise and mentor junior-level design staff.
• Perform project management duties.
• Support Regional Manager in growing the practice, backlog, and client base.
• Lead the preparation of proposals and presentations with marketing support.
• Maintain outstanding client satisfaction and relationships.
• Encourage participation in local professional affiliations.
