Position Summary:

Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of an assigned program, project, or sub-task.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Manage client relationships and collaborate with Business Development to identify and cultivate new clients.
2. Assist with contract negotiations, including defining project scope, budget, and engineering fees. Responsible for meeting contractual obligations.
3. Mobilize company resources through effective liaison with support departments and other offices to create project teams capable of delivering quality work. Supervise daily activities of support, technical, and production staff.
4. Direct the preparation of work plans, supervise project teams, and manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
5. Promote technical excellence on projects, ensuring Quality Control and Assurance objectives are met. Analyze contractual and financial performance and implement activities to improve performance.
6. Monitor and report project progress to management, including milestones and conditions affecting cost or schedule.
7. Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports, mentor staff, and provide training opportunities for development and advancement.
8. Provide production support as necessary.
9. Ensure safety and health planning for each project, as outlined in the Safety Procedures manual.
10. Adhere to all company, client, safety, and regulatory requirements related to this position and duties.

Minimum Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 8 years of experience, preferably in municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, and paving projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Business development experience is desired.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Over 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
