Job summary

CPH is seeking a Project Manager to join our Civil/Municipal team in Orlando, FL. You will oversee week-to-week execution, manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and coordinate subcontractors, permitting, and deliverables.

You will act as the primary client contact and lead a production team to deliver projects successfully. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in A/E/C, a PE license or ability to obtain, and strong skills in communication, project controls, and financial tools like Smartsheet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architectural discipline is required.
• Master’s degree in the discipline or MBA is highly preferred.
• Active PE licensure or ability to obtain within six months.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive professional experience in the A/E/C industry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project production, delivery, and routine client updates.
• Build and maintain the project plan incorporating scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare and negotiate contract/EWA scope and fees with the client.
• Create and maintain Smartsheet and align with financial reporting.
• Lead a production team through weekly project reviews, task assignments, and mentoring.
• Track labor budgets vs actuals and manage variances; identify scope creep.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact; escalate strategic items to Program Manager.
• Prepare pre-bills, progress updates, and billing notes; support collections.
• Enforce safety and DOA; maintain project files and lessons learned.
