Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Aviation to join our national aviation team. The role supports aviation clients onsite across the western U.S., including Denver, Phoenix and Los Angeles, focusing on delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing procurement and permits, and coordinating with authorities. Candidates should have airport project experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar designations.
• Minimum 15 years of construction and/or project management experience.
• Proven experience operating in a PM or leadership capacity.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in field environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of current technologies and tools used in project delivery.
• This position is contingent upon client approval.
• Experience managing construction in active/operational airport environments.

• Directs development of proposals, project initiation, execution/control and closeout for planning, EIS, design and/or construction.
• Participates in marketing, proposal preparation and presentations for project selection.
• Plans complete project execution and develops the project manual.
• Monitors manpower against budget and project scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Establishes contractor-client liaison networks to inform stakeholders of planning and progress.
• Oversees project from initiation through delivery, updating manpower as needed.
• Forms project teams to coordinate task assignments per schedule.
• Submits documents to authorities for code compliance and permits.
• Holds progress meetings to ensure contract terms and specs are met.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and internal policies; manages resources and quality controls.
• May select, supervise, and develop personnel for efficient operation.

Job description

STV is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Aviation to join our national aviation team. This position may assist aviation clients onsite throughout the western U.S. who are in need of our assistance with aviation projects. Client sites will include Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, and Los Angeles, CA.

The Senior Project Manager's overall objective is to build and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or exceed the estimated profit margin for projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Organizes cross-functional activities, for coordination of project activities for the completion of the project (i.e., project deliverables, schedule and budget)
• Capable of managing and directing the development of proposals, project initiation, project execution/control and project closeout for planning, Environmental Impact Statements, design and/or construction projects, and is responsible for project budgets, extra work requests and invoicing
• Participates in, or leads project-specific marketing, proposal preparation and presentations for successful project selection
• Plans the complete project execution and develops the project manual
• Schedules and monitors manpower requirements against the project budget/spending performance, including managing activities related to project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, coordination, manpower, discipline requirements, resources, procurement, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility
• Establishes contractor-client liaison network to keep interested parties informed of project planning, start date, and work and budget progress
• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including development, execution and updating project manpower
• Forms a project work team that meets regularly to coordinate responsibility for assignment and execution of tasks according to schedule
• Submits documents to Federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance review and submits documentation for the various permits applications as required
• Holds regularly-scheduled project progress meetings to review that the project contract's terms, conditions, and specifications are being met
• Ensures project personnel adhere to federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies and manpower, equipment, materials, and quality procedures are recognized for timely intervention and resolution
• May select, supervise, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Required Qualifications

Compensation Range:

$187,591.53 - $214,390.32
