Job summary

Planet Pharma seeks a Senior Project Manager – Clinical Research to lead regional and global clinical trials. This client-facing role requires strong project leadership, operational oversight, budget management, and stakeholder engagement.

You will oversee Phase II/III trials, manage cross-functional teams and vendors, and ensure regulatory compliance while mentoring junior staff. Hybrid or remote work options are available with a strong global team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 7+ years of clinical research experience with 4+ years in project management.
• Experience leading Phase II and/or Phase III trials.
• Experience in CRO/pharma/biotech environments.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management.
• Solid understanding of ICH-GCP, regulations, and trial operations.
• Proven budget management and financial performance.
• Oncology and/or renal trial experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Phase II-IV clinical trials from start-up to close-out.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, vendors, and study stakeholders.
• Act as primary sponsor contact and ensure high client satisfaction.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, forecasts, and resource planning.
• Drive study start-up activities including feasibility, site selection, regulatory submissions, and activation.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
• Ensure studies comply with ICH-GCP and SOPs.
• Support business development, including scope changes and bid defenses.
• Mentor junior PMs and clinical operations staff.

Theyare seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of regional and global clinical trials. This is a client-facing role requiring strong project leadership, operational oversight, budget management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Phase II-IV clinical trials from start-up through close-out.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, vendors, and study stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Oversee study timelines, budgets, forecasts, and resource planning.
• Drive study start-up activities including feasibility, site selection, regulatory submissions, and site activation.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure studies are conducted in compliance with ICH-GCP, applicable regulations, and company SOPs.
• Support business development activities, including scope changes and bid defence meetings where required.
• Mentor and develop junior project management and clinical operations staff.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
• 7+ years of clinical research experience, including 4+ years in project management.
• Strong experience managing Phase II and/or Phase III clinical trials.
• Experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment.
• Demonstrated client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial operations.
• Proven experience managing study budgets and financial performance.
• Oncology and/or Renal clinical trial experience highly regarded.
• Mandarin language skills are advantageous.
