Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, business, management or related field preferred with substantial experience.
• Minimum years of experience depend on degree: with degree in applicable field 10+ yrs; without degree 14 yrs.
• Candidates must have a valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID and utility industry experience.
• PMP or PMI certification preferred; strong budget and cost-estimation skills.

• Proficient in MS Office; create reports for executives.

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Project Manager and provide expert project management support and assistance to the Transmission Field Services' Business Transformation Office organization. This assignment will provide project management expertise in assisting Federal staff with defining, developing, and implementing the organization's strategic goals and business improvement initiatives.

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Vancouver, Washington with onsite 1 day per week.

The hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.09) is between $50.16 and $74.09 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or Management, Organizational Development, Engineering (or related discipline) is preferred.
• With an applicable bachelor's degree, 10 years of experience is required..
• With a bachelor's degree not in an applicable field, 12 years of experience is required.
• Without a bachelor's degree, 14 years of experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Experience must include direct work experience in a project management capacity, managing projects in accordance with industry project management principles, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Knowledge of product management as well as process management.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
• Strong analytic skills.
• Experience influencing and integrating change in a large, diverse organization. Must have the ability to interact effectively at all levels of a large company.
• Experience leading project teams, management review and decision-making sessions supporting organization level improvement efforts.
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal; able to work with a diverse group across business units to elicit agreement on project vision, goals/objectives, requirements and results.
• Ability to organize and analyze detailed information and communicate / present it in a variety of formats for business, executive, technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge and experience with established processes and procedures including change management, work tracking and time management.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.
• Experience in the utility business.

Preferred Skills:

• PMI or PMP certification.
• Experience in resource planning.
• Intermediate experience with SharePoint, sufficient to upload and download documents.
• Ability to accurately assess and estimate project costs.
• Ability to work autonomously given specific assignments.
• Strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
• Ability to carry out assigned tasks with a professional and collaborative demeanor, utilizing excellent listening, reasoning and problem-solving abilities to work constructively with all levels of personnel both inside and outside the agency.
• Experience in the utility business.
