Powering Innovation, Delivering Excellence: Leading the Future of Critical Power Solutions!

MEPPI’s Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD) is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Sr. Project Manager to lead the coordination and execution of proposals, orders, and communications for key customers from concept to equipment delivery. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for assigned National Accounts, ensuring seamless collaboration, technical accuracy, and customer satisfaction across every project stage.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the Customer’s Champion: Act as the main liaison for assigned National Accounts, managing all project deliverables and milestones while ensuring a superior customer experience.
  • Drive Project Success: Plan, organize, and monitor complex project activities—including scheduling, resource planning, payments, and risk management—while keeping projects on time and within budget.
  • Solve Challenges with Confidence: Lead the resolution of commercial and technical issues such as payment delays, change orders, and delivery adjustments.
  • Facilitate Collaboration: Organize and document key meetings including project kick-offs, design reviews, and factory testing events.
  • Manage Documentation Flow: Oversee proposal creation, submittals, as-built documents, manuals, and other customer-facing materials.
  • Negotiate with Impact: Handle pricing, delivery terms, delay penalties, and other commercial items with fairness and strategic insight.
  • Maximize Profitability: Review orders and change orders to optimize project profitability without compromising customer value.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and customer service teams.
  • Deliver Project Transparency: Prepare detailed project reports, participate in customer meetings, and communicate status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Support Internal Controls: Conduct formal review meetings in accordance with the company’s Limits of Authority (LOA) policy.

What You Bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in an industrial, technical, or construction environment—or equivalent education and experience.

Technical Know-How: Solid knowledge of commercial construction or electrical systems and the ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.

Project Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project budgets, and handling customer relationships.

Communication Excellence: Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills to work effectively across internal teams, vendors, and customers.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking and issue-resolution abilities.

Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Project) and project management tools.

What’s in It for You:

Comprehensive Health Coverage: MEPPI covers 90% of the cost for medical, dental, and vision plans so you can focus on your health—not the bill.

Secure Retirement: Take advantage of our 401(k) match—up to 4%—and build your future with confidence.

Generous Paid Time Off: Start accruing vacation time after 90 days, plus enjoy 12 paid holidays per year.

Career Development: Access training programs and tuition reimbursement to grow your expertise and career path.

Employee Perks: Enjoy free use of our on-site fitness center, access to our Wellness Program, profit sharing, and more!
