Job summary

Mindlance is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support transmission and substation projects at a client site in Illinois. The role is a 12-month contract with hybrid work arrangement (3 days on site) and relocation to the client location may be required.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project management, hands-on experience with transmission and substation equipment, and a Bachelor's degree or related experience. IT experience is a required deal breaker for the engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management across transmission/substation projects.
• Knowledge of transmission, substations, distribution components and related processes.
• Willingness to relocate to the client site in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, construction, outage coordination, testing and commissioning activities.
• Support project delivery from initiation to closeout, ensuring safety, schedule and budget adherence.
