Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Transmission Substation Project Manager in Pensacola to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high‑voltage transmission and substation projects, with a focus on Panhandle initiatives. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, construction, environmental permitting, and operations to drive projects from concept through commissioning.

Job Title: Transmission Substation Project Manager

• Number of Openings: 1
• Contract Duration: Indefinite
• Pay Rate: $55 - $80/HR
• Interview Process: 2 virtual interviews
• Availability: Wednesday afternoon, all day Friday

Notes:

• While a background in utilities is preferred, a strong Project Manager with extensive experience and proficiency in Primavera and SAP may be considered, as the hiring manager is willing to train on the utilities side.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience using Oracle Primavera
• Experience with SAP

Plusses:

• Experience working for another utilities/energy company

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of transmission and substation projects, with a focus on transmission line projects in the Panhandle.
• Manage large-scale projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive project success from concept through commissioning.
• Partner with engineering, construction, environmental, permitting, and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
