Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Remote (U.S. Based)

Start Date: July 14, 2025

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (may include occasional evenings/weekends with pre-approval)

Employment Type: Contract (extension possible based on funding)

Note: Must have State or Federal Client experience such as "State Of Texas".

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex cloud-based technical initiatives, including a Mainframe Transformation project. The role requires expertise in Azure environments, Agile methodologies, SDLC oversight, and DevOps practices. Candidates must be able to drive scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication while ensuring technical alignment and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical project execution, with a focus on cloud-based modernization and software integration
• Manage stakeholder communications across business, technical, and leadership teams
• Oversee project roadmaps involving Azure architecture, DevOps pipelines, and .NET development
• Apply Agile practices such as sprint planning, backlog management, and milestone tracking
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
• Ensure documentation accuracy including charters, project plans, dashboards, and reports
• Track performance metrics, quality assurance, and solution outcomes with technical teams
• Align delivery with compliance standards and regulatory frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years experience in technical project management of enterprise cloud (Azure preferred) initiatives
• 6+ years experience managing Agile/Scrum-based SDLC projects
• Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD workflows, and related tooling
• Experience managing technical efforts involving .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders
• Expertise in project budgeting, vendor coordination, and resource planning
• Skilled in creating detailed project plans, Gantt charts, dashboards, and status reports
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple concurrent initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mainframe modernization or transformation projects
• Experience supporting technology initiatives in highly regulated industries

Additional Requirements:

• Must have a home office setup capable of supporting secure remote access (e.g., GoToMyPC or similar)
• Headset may be required for remote communication
• If agency-issued hardware is provided, it must be returned at the end of the engagement
• All travel or related expenses, if required, must be pre-approved and are non-reimbursable unless specified
