Job summary

G&E Partners seeks an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of large-scale Data Center projects valued at $1B+. The role requires full ownership of cost, schedule, and quality with on-site leadership across a growing division.

The candidate will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with estimators and MEP specialists, and report to senior executives while traveling as needed across nationwide data centers.

G&E Partners have been exclusively mandated by the SVP at one of the US’ most respected $6B commercial General Contractors to identify an experienced and high-performing Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead delivery on their upcoming $1B+ Data Center projects.

With the organization undergoing a transformative year and expanding multiple divisions across the state, this represents a rare opportunity to join a market-leading builder at a pivotal stage of growth within the mission-critical sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery of large-scale data center builds from preconstruction through commissioning and close-out.
• Maintain full ownership of project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change management.
• Develop and manage master project schedules in collaboration with superintendents and senior schedulers to ensure milestone achievement.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract administration, and performance management.
• Partner closely with field leadership to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently achieved.
• Act as the primary client interface, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring best-in-class service delivery.
• Report into the Project Executive / Regional VP with regular executive-level updates on cost, risk, schedule, and overall performance.
• Coordinate with estimators, preconstruction teams, and MEP specialists to ensure technical alignment on complex mission-critical systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience within commercial construction, with significant exposure to large, ground-up builds.
• Proven experience leading projects valued at $150M+ (data center or mission-critical experience strongly preferred).
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success managing large project P&Ls.
• Deep understanding of MEP coordination, commissioning processes, and fast-track delivery environments.
• Track record of successfully delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage large cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site with flexibility for national travel as required.
