Optomi, in partnership with a leading provider of engineering, construction, and digital infrastructure solutions, is looking for a Project Manager – Aviation Infrastructure & Digital Transformation to support a major modernization initiative. The Project Manager will lead the day-to-day delivery of a digital transformation program. The Project Manager will oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risks, deliverables, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams while serving as a key client-facing partner. The ideal candidate brings strong aviation or transportation infrastructure project management experience, a construction-focused background, and an understanding of how emerging technologies and AI can improve project delivery.

What type of experience does the right candidate have:
- Strong Project or Program Management experience within airport, aviation, or transportation infrastructure
- Experience managing construction or infrastructure projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and project deliverables
- Strong client-facing and executive communication experience
- Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience leading large or complex capital programs
- Working knowledge of AI and its practical applications within construction or infrastructure project delivery
- Experience with BIM, digital delivery, digital twins, GIS, reality capture, or construction technology is preferred
- PMIS experience with platforms such as Kahua, Procore, e-Builder, PMWeb, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, or similar tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field preferred
What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:
- Serve as the onsite Project Manager responsible for day-to-day delivery of the digital transformation program
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources, deliverables, and contractual commitments
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams supporting BIM, digital engineering, PMIS, analytics, and technology initiatives
- Manage subcontractors, consultants, and other external project partners
- Lead client meetings, project reviews, executive updates, and stakeholder communications
- Track project performance, identify risks and roadblocks, and drive issues through resolution
- Support the development of a comprehensive digital representation of the existing infrastructure
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation for reporting, document management, project controls, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency
- Work with technical teams to integrate digital tools and AI-enabled capabilities into construction and infrastructure workflows
- Support additional transportation infrastructure and innovation initiatives as needed
