Job description

Insight Global Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex consulting engagements for clients across the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), capital projects, infrastructure, mission-critical facilities, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.

This role is responsible for end-to-end delivery of strategic business, operational, and technology initiatives. Successful candidates will lead cross-functional teams, manage executive stakeholder relationships, oversee project financials, and drive successful customer outcomes across a portfolio of projects.

This is not a traditional construction management role. Rather, the Project Manager serves as a trusted advisor and delivery leader for programs that may include digital transformation, AI readiness assessments, PMO implementation, systems modernization, procurement transformation, process improvement, reporting and analytics initiatives, operational excellence programs, and enterprise technology deployments. A success candidate is a strategic project or program leader who has operated inside an engineering, construction, or capital projects organization and understands how those businesses function across operations, technology, procurement, PMO, finance, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple concurrent client engagements ranging from $500K to multi-million-dollar programs.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications across project portfolios.
  • Establish governance frameworks, executive reporting cadences, and program management standards.
  • Drive program planning, resource forecasting, delivery execution, and successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual commitments, KPIs, SLAs, and client success measures.
  • Serve as the primary delivery contact for client executives, program sponsors, and steering committees.
  • Facilitate executive business reviews, status meetings, risk reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client leadership teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program outcomes, operational efficiency, and business value.
Risk & Financial Management
  • Manage engagement financial performance, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Monitor program risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Drive change control governance and scope management.
  • Escalate delivery concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Lead cross-functional consulting teams including project managers, business analysts, PMO analysts, architects, engineers, technical SMEs, and client resources.
  • Coach and mentor project managers and emerging program leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and client-centric delivery.
