Job Title: Sr. Project Manager (CMC/Process Development)

Location: REMOTE - 7+ Month Contract

Pay Range: $70.00/hr - $77.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

Qualifications: Must meet all technical qualifications; training will not be provided. Slightly less experience may be acceptable if qualifications are met.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for the CMC Integration team within Operation Products Advancement in Process Development. The role involves developing and maintaining project schedules for pipeline projects, focusing on supporting programs in the Pivotal, Life Cycle Management, and Commercial areas. The position is based in Thousand Oaks, CA, with remote work options.

The Sr. PM will manage cross-functional teams across all modalities (Biologics and Synthetics), partnering with technical leads to identify key deliverables, ensure alignment, and execute plans proactively to meet project goals. Responsibilities include understanding clinical development strategies, drafting timeline scenarios, facilitating communication, leveraging leadership skills, managing collaboration tools, reporting metrics, and supporting process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 6+ years of project management experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Healthcare fields, with direct CMC experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams, and SharePoint is highly desirable.
