Job summary

A leading infrastructure consulting firm is seeking an Executive Search Consultant to oversee significant Water/Wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in project management for complex infrastructure projects, complemented by strong leadership and client relationship skills. You will manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure successful project delivery while enjoying a generous benefits package, including a strong bonus structure and company vehicle. Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive project management experience delivering complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated leadership on large-scale water programs with projects valued at $200M+.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership over the delivery of multiple concurrent Water/Wastewater programs.
• Serve as a senior client interface maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee engineering design, permitting, and construction administration, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and client objectives.
• Provide portfolio-level oversight to ensure consistency in delivery standards, reporting, and financial performance.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and technical staff to strengthen long-term capability and succession.
• Positioned as a key successor within the regional leadership structure, to support regional growth, workload planning, and strategic decision-making.

Executive Search Consultant – US Civil Infrastructure

G&E Partners are mandated by the Executive Vice President of a Top 50 ENR contractor to secure a Senior Leader on some of the largest Water/Wastewater projects in the state. Responsibilities

• Provide leadership over the delivery of multiple concurrent Water/Wastewater programs, overseeing projects from early planning and design through construction and closeout.
• Serve as a senior client interface, maintaining existing relationships while developing new client and partner opportunities across municipal and agency stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, consultants, and agencies to ensure successful project execution across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
• Oversee engineering design, permitting, and construction administration, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and client objectives.
• Provide portfolio-level oversight to ensure consistency in delivery standards, reporting, and financial performance.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and technical staff to strengthen long-term capability and succession.
• Positioned as a key successor within the regional leadership structure, to support regional growth, workload planning, and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (PE preferred or ability to obtain).
• Demonstrated leadership on large-scale water programs, including projects valued at $200M+, from planning through commissioning and closeout.
• Proven ability to consistently deliver projects on schedule and within budget, managing risk, change, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization with owners, boards, regulators, and public agencies.
• Established track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships with municipalities, utility districts, and public-sector stakeholders.
