Senior Geotechnical Project Manager – Grid Resilience | Florida Offices

An established, nationally recognized engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager / Engineer to join its growing Grid Resilience and Renewable Energy practice across Florida. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-impact projects across infrastructure, land development, and energy markets while playing a key part in expanding the firm’s geotechnical capabilities throughout the region.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the geotechnical design and delivery of large-scale civil and grid resilience projects.
  • Prepare and oversee technical reports, specifications, and construction recommendations.
  • Manage client relationships, project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional growth of the team.
  • Support geotechnical investigations, field oversight, and construction observation.
  • Provide analysis and modeling using tools such as PLAXIS, LPILE, and SLOPE/W.
What You Bring
  • Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering (Bachelor’s in Civil or related field required).
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • 10+ years of geotechnical experience, ideally with exposure to grid resilience or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong background in subsurface investigations, foundation design, slope stability, and earthwork inspection.
  • Proficiency with geotechnical software (gINT, Slide/SLOPE/W, PLAXIS, LPILE, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
  • Ability to balance technical work, business development, and team leadership.
