Senior Geotechnical Project Manager – Grid Resilience | Florida Offices
An established, nationally recognized engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager / Engineer to join its growing Grid Resilience and Renewable Energy practice across Florida. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-impact projects across infrastructure, land development, and energy markets while playing a key part in expanding the firm’s geotechnical capabilities throughout the region.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the geotechnical design and delivery of large-scale civil and grid resilience projects.
- Prepare and oversee technical reports, specifications, and construction recommendations.
- Manage client relationships, project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional growth of the team.
- Support geotechnical investigations, field oversight, and construction observation.
- Provide analysis and modeling using tools such as PLAXIS, LPILE, and SLOPE/W.
What You Bring
- Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering (Bachelor’s in Civil or related field required).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- 10+ years of geotechnical experience, ideally with exposure to grid resilience or renewable energy projects.
- Strong background in subsurface investigations, foundation design, slope stability, and earthwork inspection.
- Proficiency with geotechnical software (gINT, Slide/SLOPE/W, PLAXIS, LPILE, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
- Ability to balance technical work, business development, and team leadership.
