Qualifications

  • 8+ years of project management experience within the electrical contracting industry.
  • Experience managing electrical contract values of $25M+ required.
  • Experience overseeing projects with total construction values up to $100M+ preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, means, and industry best practices.
  • Proven success managing project schedules, budgets, cost controls, and profitability.
  • Experience reviewing contracts, procurement documents, and change management processes.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency with construction management and project controls software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously from turnover through completion.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, billing, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
  • Review contracts, purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, and resource strategies.
  • Partner closely with field leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, challenges, and schedule impacts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Conduct project reviews and provide leadership to project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other operations personnel.

Job Details

We are seeking a proven electrical construction leader with experience managing large, complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will come directly from an electrical contracting background and have a demonstrated track record overseeing electrical scopes exceeding $25M.

This individual will provide leadership across multiple projects while driving financial performance, operational excellence, client satisfaction, and team development.

Responsibilities
