Job summary

DSC Dredge, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead, support, and manage the development of DSC’s projects, coordinating with manufacturing and engineering inputs with strong organizational and communication skills.

The role emphasizes independent yet collaborative work across the team, focusing on on-time delivery, risk mitigation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Computer Science, Business, or Engineering) is required.
• 5+ years of related project management experience requested.
• PMP, PgMP, CAPM or comparable certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and accurately and efficiently.
• Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly.
• Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
• Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
• Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide mitigation recommendations (including termination if needed).
• Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
• Act as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
• Communicate and collaborate with sales and marketing to promote and sell projects, programs, and systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

About This Position

The DSC Senior Project Manager will lead, support, and manage the development of DSC’s projects. The ideal candidate will organize, manage, and plan multi-complex projects and will have experience in managing projects with manufacturing and engineering inputs, excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with their team and cross-functionally.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and accurately and efficiently.
• Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegate accordingly.
• Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
• Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
• Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
• Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
• Act as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
• Communicate and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations as well as all company policies and procedures; uses/wears all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for assigned tasks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required.
• At least Five (5) years of related experience required.
• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based, with regular time on the manufacturing floor and in testing environments. You’ll work alongside fabrication teams, operate comfortably around heavy equipment and industrial operations, and occasionally travel to vendor facilities, job sites, or customer locations. It’s a hands‑on environment — and that’s part of what makes the work compelling.
