Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Omaha, NE. The role focuses on developing schedules, managing contracts, and communicating with leadership and customers to drive project success.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years PM experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and are able to travel up to 25%. PMP certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional international travel and weekend stays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
• Manage contracts throughout project lifecycles, including contract review and negotiation with sales and business development teams.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and performance while providing updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate project documentation, facilitate meetings, and serve as the primary point of communication between departments and customers.
• Lead customer meetings for project kickoffs, status updates, negotiations, and closeout activities.
• Support bid management activities, including scheduling, review meetings, and approval processes.
• Assist with process improvements and implementation of project management best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience

Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
• Manage contracts throughout project lifecycles, including contract review and negotiation with sales and business development teams.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and performance while providing updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience with contract review and modification of contractual terms and conditions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and project management software, preferably MS Project.
• PMP certification and multilingual abilities (Spanish, French, German, or Mandarin) are preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, including occasional international travel and weekend stays.
