Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Senior Project/Program Manager to lead complex real estate initiatives across multiple markets and asset types. You will drive delivery excellence, manage client relationships at the executive level, and guide teams through planning, design, construction, and occupancy stages.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop standardized processes, and provide portfolio-level reporting to optimize schedule, budget, and risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in real estate/project/program management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects across markets.
• Experience with full real estate lifecycle (planning, design, construction, occupancy).
• Track record with diverse stakeholders and communicating with executives.
• Experience across multiple markets, preferably globally.
• Knowledge of real estate development processes, approvals and regulations.

What this Job Involves:

Client Leadership & Project Delivery

• Drive efficiency and consistency across multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity.
• You’ll serve as the single point of contact for program delivery, developing tailored strategies and standardized processes that ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Your ability to manage diverse project types—from workplace transformations to development initiatives—will be essential.
• Collaborate with clients to define program goals for large-scale, complex project portfolios spanning multiple markets and asset types.
• Develop and implement standardized processes, playbooks, and tools that support cross-functional partnerships.
• Provide consolidated reporting across schedule, budget, risk, and opportunity metrics for all active projects.
• Establish management routines to track portfolio performance against client-specific KPIs.
• Proactively identify and resolve risks across projects, removing roadblocks and facilitating stakeholder alignment.
• Continuously improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency across varied project types.

Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including client executives, project teams, vendors, and JLL service lines.
• Navigate competing priorities and expectations while maintaining alignment across all parties.
• Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders who have varying levels of industry experience.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across JLL's platform to deliver integrated solutions.
• Facilitate reprioritization conversations among stakeholders when conflicts arise.
• Leverage JLL's broader capabilities to provide portfolio-specific insights and expertise.

Team Leadership

• Lead project teams through example, establishing strong rapport while driving operational excellence.
• Allocate workloads strategically across team members based on expertise, capacity, and project demands.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and professional development.

Business Growth

• Execute team strategies that support P&L objectives and strengthen JLL's market position.
• Cultivate deep client relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities across JLL's service lines, and contribute to business development efforts.
• Monitor project profitability to ensure both client satisfaction and financial performance.

Required Experience

• 10+ years in real estate/project/program management
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously across different project types and markets
• Experience with projects throughout the full real estate lifecycle (planning, design, construction, occupancy)
• Track record of managing diverse stakeholder groups and building effective relationships at all levels
• Demonstrated success communicating with C-suite executives and managing their varying expectations
• Experience working across multiple markets, preferably globally, with ability to navigate regional differences
• Comprehensive knowledge of real estate development processes, approvals, and regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to connect strategic vision to tactical execution

Technical Skills

• Advanced organizational skills with ability to prioritize across multiple concurrent initiatives in fast-paced environments
• Expertise in project scheduling and budget management across varied project types
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, including Smartsheet
• Strong contract management capabilities
• Knowledge of disciplined project management methodologies (Six Sigma, PMP certification preferred)
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of standard business and accounting practices
• Proficiency in AI tools and applications for project management, data analysis, and process optimization

Education

Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, business management, finance, or engineering (advanced degrees preferred)

Estimated compensation for this position: 137,500.00 – 154,000.00 USD per year
