We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee luxury residential electronics and AV installation projects from initial planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have experience managing residential technology projects, coordinating technicians and vendors, expediting materials, managing schedules and budgets, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Experience with Control4, Alarm.com, AV systems, home automation, or related technologies is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electronics installation projects from planning through completion.
- Develop and coordinate project schedules, timelines, and resources.
- Manage project logistics, including equipment and material procurement and delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, technicians, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, scope, and deadlines.
- Coordinate inspections, quality checks, and on-site activities.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and status updates.
- Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and logistical challenges.
- Coordinate with technicians and vendors to ensure projects meet quality and customer service standards.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Strong project management experience involving planning, execution, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience working with high-end luxury homes and residential projects.
- Experience as an Expeditor or in expediting/procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of inspection processes and quality control for technical or installation-based projects.
- Strong logistics and scheduling coordination skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and follow-through abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in electronics, AV systems, construction, or related fields is preferred.
- Experience with Control4 and Alarm.com is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with project management software and standard office productivity tools.
- Ability to work on-site and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
