Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be based onsite in Nashville, TN, leading the PM/CM team and delivering projects on time and within budget.

You will manage project development from conception through completion, oversee safety, schedule, cost, and quality, and collaborate with clients to achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization.
  • Experience managing projects of $50 million+.
  • Advanced working knowledge of contract management, pre-design, pre-construction, renovations, demolition, and new construction building systems/components and technology.
  • Experience with various the disciplines, trades and systems related with an emphasis on full project delivery.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Strong people leadership skills along with building and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the project team and overall project delivery onsite.
  • Oversee project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.
  • Onsite Owners Representative: manage material, schedule, cost, scope and safety of the team.
  • Develop and deliver on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules.
  • Facilitate resolution to complex project-related challenges.

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at the client site in Nashville, TN, you’ll be responsible for managing the project team and the overall project delivery, but also for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives. You will manage and provide oversight and facilitate resolution to complex project related challenges.

As the onsite Owners Representative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of a project, but also the material management, schedule, cost, scope and safety of the team. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our team achieve our client’s objectives. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture

Ideally, You’ll Also Have
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with managing work for private sector clients (preferred but not required)

The base salary range for this position is $165,000.00 to $190,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
